There’s even specific options for different age types, whether 20’s, 30’s, 40’s, 50’s and beyond. In reviewing skincare products our review experts have found that the best option is Kremotex. It has a wide array of potent natural ingredients made to help boost skin health. Discover more about the effects of Kremotex by following the link here.

Stages of Beauty Ingredients and Side Effects

Here are some select ingredients added to their products:

Glycerin Ethylhexyl Palmitate Sodium Hydroxide BHT Phenoxyethanol
Adenosine Triphosphate Stearic Acid Dimethicone Cetaryl Isononanoate Alcohol
Hydrogenated CocoGlycerides Palmitic Acid Steareth-21 Polyacrylamide Hydroxyethylcellulose

Glycerin: Natural ingredient used to help retain moisture and condition skin. This has been shown to be safe to add on the skin, and its potent effects can help promote healthier looking skin.

It can also help other ingredients mix better into a working solution. It has no color, is non-toxic, and can help provide many unique functions. This is commonly added to many skincare products due to its range of use and healthy properties.

Ethylhexyl Palmitate: Skin conditioning ingredient that also helps to provide a fragrance. The Cosmetic Ingredient Review Assessments groups found:

“Human irritant- strong evidence”

This is why it’s only advised to be used around the eyes; in certain amounts it can be toxic.

BHT: Preservative used in cosmetics and foods which can cause irritation. Many groups have analyzed this ingredient and found it can damage cells and promote cancer.

There’s also been concern that it may lead to toxic buildup in the body.

Alcohol: A general ingredient which is often added to help other ingredients blend together better. Certain kinds of alcohol can dry skin further, which can require more treatment.

Not all kinds of alcohol are suitable for skin use as it can promote irritation as well. It’s important to know what kind of alcohol is added to ensure one isn’t susceptible for serious damage.

Hydrogenated Coco Glycerides: Hydrogenate coconut oils mixed with other fatty substances. This is added to help condition the skin. It’s considered safe to use according to the Cosmetic Ingredient Review Assessments group.

Polyacrylamide: Synthetic ingredient that helps to bind other ingredients. It’s been considered safe for use in certain amounts. There’s a risk of it causing contamination and bioaccumulation, which means it can lead to toxic buildup.

Stages of Beauty Quality of Ingredients

Some of the ingredients added are healthy to use such as glycerin and the fatty acids. There’s many potential irritations added to this however which can cause side effects.

There’s also the use of cheap ingredients which some studies have shown to be potentially carcinogenic. This can lead to a long term increased risk for cancer.

The preservative BHT is also added which has had multiple studies showing its potential risk. This harsh preservative is best avoided to ensure one is not at risk for damaging effects.

The Price and Quality of Stages of Beauty

The cost depends on the age range chosen and the kind of treatment selected:

  • $49.99 for a 30 ml treatment cream.
  • $20.99 for a 120 ml cleanser.
  • $24.49 for a 60 ml facial scrub.
  • 34.99 for a 15 ml antioxidant serum.

The issue with having to use all these brands is that it can cost a lot of money, and other products offer a more comprehensive all in one formula.

The kinds of ingredients used include potentially harsh preservatives. There are also many kinds of additives which are cheap to source elsewhere. For a comprehensive list of the top 10 ranked anti-aging creams, click on the link here.

Business of Stages of Beauty

The official name of the company is Stages of Beauty LLC and their contact information is:

Phone Number: (877) 556-5819

They have a return policy only for people who join their membership program. Otherwise, returns are only offered on unopened products within 30 days.

They have complaints on RipOffReport.com that reads:

“stay away from this beauty product company… they reel you into hoaxes”

“called 15 times yesterday asking for a confirmation email that the order was cancelled”

“they are crooked and thieves and do not do what they say”

This was a major issue with people who added how the company is unreasonable and that they do not offer returns. There were also issues with contacting customer service, as it took a lot of time to finally get a hold of someone who could help.

EDITOR’S TIP: For the best results, our experts recommend using anti-aging creams for at least 3 months. Save your money by buying a few bottles at once.

Customer Opinions of Stages of Beauty

Provided are some customer reviews found online:

“didn’t meet my expectations”

“After one month of use I did not see a difference”

“skin is very sensitive and after using this I did notice some good effects”

“skin does feel softer but I can’t visually see a difference”

There was a good mix of both positive and negative reviews. Often those who enjoyed this felt that their skin was smoother, but that it did not lead to any changes in the way their skin looked.

So for many it only had an artificial difference, and did not actually promote healthier skin.

There were some issues from users who felt that this product neither made their skin smoother, nor did it make the appearance of skin look younger. Our review experts have looked at many skin care product and found the top 10 best anti-aging brands.

There are a lot of unique things offered by this brand. There are many formulas for each kind of skin types, and all age ranges. While this seems more comprehensive, it also raises the overall price. Some felt that while it made their skin smoother, it didn’t affect the appearance of their skin. It had only a superficial effect according to several users. Review: Stages of Beauty Skincare in Radiance

So beautifully packaged I must say, digging the butterflies in the box!

It’s true, I was smiling, I am still smiling.

Stages Of Beauty Skincare In Radiance

Trying out a new skincare line is kind of like a blind date. You are excited and kind of scared at the same time because you don’t know what to expect. You might even have to answer the “fake” call from your best friend and relay the tragic news that a loved one “is going through some hard thing’s” and you must bounce IMMEDIATELY. Or it might look a little like my own blind-date (when I met my husband) where sparks fly and you stay up until 2am creating a MySpace page when that was cool. No we are not nerds…mmm, maybe we are? It’s questionable.

Well, this was a blind date gone right with the Stages Of Beauty Skincare Line. So let me tell you the details, because if you are like me, you like to be in the know.

Stages of Beauty Skincare was created with the idea that different age groups have different needs as far as skincare is concerned. So MIT- trained chemical and biological engineer, Jasmina Aganovic’s created the first skincare line that focused on getting the right products in the hands of women depending on their “stage in beauty.” Stages of beauty offers four different age specific lines:

line (for women in their 20’s) focuses on preventative care, repairing and protecting skin against environmental damage and free radicals. (This is the one I am reviewing) line (for women in their 30’s) puts an additional focus on promoting the skins natural ability to exfoliate and regenerate new skin cells while supporting collagen and elastin. line (for women in their 40s) puts an additional focus on regaining the skin’s elasticity, firmness and tone. line (for women in their 50’s +) puts an additional focus on hydration, restoration of the skin’s surface immunity, and balancing the effect of hormones on the skin.

Cleanser

I didn’t have a huge magical connection with this cleanser at first because cleansers are one of those necessary thing’s that are kind of boring. But a good cleanser is important as we all have to admit. This one cleansed my skin without making it feel stripped and was also the perfect mix between foaming and not giving your face a bubble bath.

  • Removes dirt, oil and makeup
  • Brightens skin tone and evens complexion
  • Activates detoxification enzymes to help fight free radicals

Ingredients: Monk’s Pepper Berry Extract, Sugar & Fruit Extracts and 20s Synergistic Blend ( Licorice & Mulberry Root Extract, Tea Leaf Extract, Swiss Cress Extract and Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice)

Price: $29.99 for 120 mL (moderate price point)

Rating: I think I really like you (4 points)

Scrub

I am generally not a huge scrub fan, but I did like this one because it didn’t just have just beads soaked in oil. It has Jojoba, pomegranate, bamboo granules and other natural fruit extracts that help exfoliate not only on your skin but within your pores as well. I used it 3 times per week and my skin felt so soft after each use.

  • Increases the skin’s ability to retain moisture
  • Preserves elasticity
  • Tones, lightens and tightens skin

Ingredients: Monk’s Pepper Berry Extract, Sugar & Fruit Extracts, Bamboo Micro Granules and 20’s Synergistic Blend (Pomegranate Seeds, Swiss Cress, Sprout Extract and Licorice & Mulberry Root Extract

Price: $34.99 for 60mL

Rating: I think I really like you (4 points)

Antioxidant Serum With Red Tea

Using an Antioxidant and a Hyaluronic Acid is very important in your 20’s because this is the time where we see our first signs of aging. This serum has Red Tea extract and Hyaluronic Acid which helps to combat free radicals as well as repairs environmental damage. I only needed about 3 drops per use after cleansing which was great. I used in morning and night and felt like my skin looked bright and supple.

  • Combats free radical damage
  • Calms irritated and/or inflamed skin
  • Repairs environmental damage for healthier looking skin

Ingredients: Hyaluronic Acid and Red Tea Extract

Price: $52.99 (A fantastic steal of a price for these ingredients.)

Rating: I can’t live without you (5 points)

Treatment Cream

I love a moisturizer that doesn’t feel like I have grease dripping off my face. This is a lightweight cream that “calms, protects, and restores youthful skin cells.” When I applied it to my skin, it didn’t take ten years to absorb, I loved that about this moisturizer. It also has some quality ingredients that make me a rather happy girl. And last but certainly not least, I did not get clogged pores from this, which is my biggest fear when trying out a new moisturizer. So I am very happy about that factor.

  • Provides lasting hydration without shine
  • Helps speed and promote the repair of free radical damage and oxidative stress
  • Inhibits enzymes that degrade collagen

Ingredients: Monk’s Pepper Berry Extract, Amino Acid Complex, Apple Stem Cells, Resveratrol and Sea Botanicals

Price: $52.99 for 30mL, $74.99 for 50mL (Price range is pretty average for quality product.)

Rating: I can’t live without you (5 points)

Overall Rating-Thoughts and Opinions

From the moment I opened that packaging I knew it was a possibility we could be more than friends. We hit it off well, but I have to admit, the only thing I wish this line had was an SPF. If you end up purchasing this line, make sure that you find a good SPF to wear with this…especially on the day’s you exfoliate your skin. Other than that, I really can’t think of anything else that this line needs. It has an exfoliant, a Hyalurlonic Acid and Anti Oxidant. Best of all, it is also fragrance free which helps those of us that might have more sensitive skin. Besides an SPF, what else would you need? I really enjoyed using this, it made my skin stay in tip top condition, and I was excited to use it at the beginning and end of each day. Oh, and no I will not be passing it off to any friends. I will use this to the very last drop.

Overall Rating: I think I really like you (4 points)

Only because as a skin care system it doesn’t include an SPF which I think is so very important. Perhaps that will be in this fantastic lines future, which will then make it a 5 in my book.

ALSO- I would like you all to know that you can try a free 14 day trial according to the web site. I am just going to assume that you will have to pay shipping and processing.

**This product was given to me for the purpose of review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I found that a little bit of the cleanser goes a long way…I use less than a dime sized amount and it’s plenty to cleanse my whole face, neck and chest.

Step 2: Stages of Beauty Harmony Exfoliating Scrub – Reveal Fresh Cells

Harmony Exfoliator Harmony Exfoliator with Bamboo and Pomegranate

I can’t stress enough the importance of exfoliating which you should do 2-3x per week. You need to remove the dead layer of cells from your skin to encourage new cells to take their place, otherwise your skin will look dull and lifeless, and collagen production will not be encouraged.

Once you hit your 30′s, your skin’s ability to regenerate itself is reduced by 50% so it needs a little help! Exfoliating encourages your skin to regenerate itself by removing dead cells and allowing fresh, new cells to rise to the surface revealing a much more youthful appearance.

It also enables your skin to breath so your anti-aging products are able to find the pathways to penetrate at a much deeper level rendering them more effective.

The Stages of Beauty Harmony Exfoliator has an invigorating blend of bamboo micro particles within its ingredients as well as pomegranate seed powder as its main physical exfoliating agent which go to work immediately to slough off dead skin cells.

The base of the product is chocked full of a blend of fruit extracts and seed oils which are not only effective, but soothing to the skin, including Camelina Oil which repairs and calms. If you’ve ever used Origin’s “Never a Dull Moment” it’s very similar in texture without the stickiness.

It also contains glycerin which aids in hydration as well as sugar and citrus extracts with natural occuring AHA’s, reducing the appearance of wrinkling while smoothing and softening the skin.

Perhaps the most notable ingredient within this exfoliant’s impressive blend of fruit enzymes is Açaí Fruit Oil, a super berry with the ability to heal and moisturize since it’s able to penetrate the skin deeply and quickly.

Developed by an MIT-trained chemical and biological engineer, stages of beauty skin-care ranges utilize the benefits of proven natural ingredients to address external skin damages in different phases of lives.

Who Is The Manufacturer Of Stages of Beauty?

Stages of Beauty products are manufactured by the Boston-based technology-driven health and wellness products company, NutraClick. Stages of Beauty was launched in 2011 as a skincare brand taking care of the needs of women’s skin throughout different phases of their lives.

One of the co-founders and the mastermind of the Stages of Beauty brand is Jasmina Aganovic, an MIT-educated Chemical & Biological Engineer; her extensive research on natural ingredients was used to formulate the unique skincare products of Stages of Beauty.

All four product lines of Stages of Beauty focus on providing women with age-specific anti-aging solutions, a deviation from the one-size-fits-all approach. The brand claims to make a difference in skin appearances with unique formulations powered by ground-breaking science.

Stages of Beauty Review – Health Web Magazine Images

The Grace Treatment Cream is “the cornerstone of the Grace line,” according to the company website. It has some ingredients of which I have never heard, such as monk’s pepper berry extract, sorghum, and a Chinese botanical blend. The cream is snowy white and unscented. There is nothing to dislike about it: It has a light texture that sinks into the skin and moisturizes without being greasy. It doesn’t rub off in little flakes, even after I apply sunscreen. It absorbs quickly and leaves my skin smooth and comfortable.

Stages of Beauty Grace Treatment Cream- reader reviewed

The Stages of Beauty brand builds its products around the changing needs of skin at different ages and “stages”: 20s (“Radiance”), 30s (“Harmony”), 40s (“Elegance”), and 50s and beyond (“Grace”). Being 52 this year, I was offered by TIA a chance to review The Grace Treatment Cream.

On the other hand, there is nothing to particularly like about it either. It’s a pretty good cream, but not an exceptionally good cream. I think I could get better ones for $53, plus shipping. I took an unusually long time deciding where I fall on this cream, and finally decided it’s too pedestrian to recommend. At my age, so-so just won’t cut it.

Now that I’ve gotten the product review out of the way, allow me to quibble about the name “Grace” for the 50s. It sounds so… retiring, like the beauty equivalent of being put to pasture. I am past “Radiance,” “Harmony,” and “Elegance,” but I am still raising teenagers, running a business, managing a household, and supporting my elderly parents. I’m too busy to feel “graceful,” “gracious,” or grace-anything. I realize it’s hard to capture the 50s in a single word because it is an age of unprecedented divergence between our outer appearance and inner substance, but I don’t think “Grace” is the best word. I took an unusually long time to review the Grace Treatment Cream because I wanted to make sure I was reviewing the product and not its name. I hope I did it justice.
