I have to admit my growing love affair with Eastern beauty products such as natural skin care from V10 Plus after what I noticed with the beautiful changes to my skin from my first review using their water peeling product. However, I never sampled any of their V10 Plus hand skincare products until receiving a few to review in a box the company sent among a few others. Therefore, let me tell me what their V10 Plus hand skincare products can offer with the V3 Miracle Hydrating and Revitalizing Serums.

The V10 Plus hand skincare system involves two products with the V3 Miracle Hydrating and the V3 Revitalizing Serums with pump dispensers. Both of these are used together for solving chapped, dry skin of hands without parabens, mineral oil, artificial colors, and chemical fragrances. You may think this sounds like overkill for handling the problem, but only a small amount is necessary with their powerful combination of ingredients in these thinner, water-based serums.

The Miracle Hydrating Serum features ingredients such as sodium hyaluronate for superior hydration. Unlike its cousin, hyaluronic acid that is made from sugar molecules, sodium hyaluronate is derived from salts. Nonetheless, this ingredient does the same magic for the skin in how it can attract water.

Oat kernel extract is also included in the Miracle Hydrating Serum due to how it works for providing a tightening effect attributed to its silicic acid for instant smoothness to the skin. Oats also have considerable starches and beta-glucans for excellent moisturization even for sensitive skin.

Another star performer in V10 Plus Miracle Hydrating Serum is its amino acid called betaine that has humble beginnings from sugar beets. This is an amazing humectant that offers a better solution for moisturizing without that same degree of a tacky feeling compared to glycerin that can be typically found in hand and foot creams. This has just slight stickiness.

The V10 Plus Miracle Hydrating Serum also has pterocarpus marsupium bark extract among its other ingredients that anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties for help protecting and lightening the skin.

The second of the V10 Plus hand skincare products important to this regime is the V3 Miracle Revitalizing Serum. I don’t know whether this was the first product to apply or second step, but it works nicely either way from my experience for skin repair. Some of its ingredients include sodium PCA, which is a wonderful moisturizing agent for how it attracts water from the air along with others such as sorbitol, a humectant, an amino acid such as serine for moisture among others. However, the Revitalizing serum does have butylene glycol and pentylene glycol, which may give some reason for concern since they are petroleum-derived.

If you searching are a quick repair for your hands and feet or hunting for a great holiday gift, I must say that the V10 Plus hand skincare products with both Miracle serums ($74 each) does excellent work for smoothing and moisturizing the skin even after you wash your hands several times for more lasting effects compared to other hand and foot creams you may have tried. Check the company’s website out.

V10 Plus Biocell & Vitamin C Serum | Review

The moment I reached 30, I decided to up my skincare game. The first thing I did was research about serums. I’ve read about the 12-step Korean skincare before and I admit, I got so confused about the different steps that I gave up. Naturally, I was as clueless as a deer entering a lion’s den when it came to serums. A colleague then encouraged me to try these V10 Plus serums.

THE STORY OF V10

The captivating story about V 10 started from, Aichi, in Toyota City of Japan, where people face different types of skin problems. Our founder, Mrs Akiko Yokota and together with her sister, encountered the skin counseling by chance. They were amazed by the results generated by the auto-generated system which advised them on their skin needs for the first time.

The sisters tried the customized serums and had experienced the miracles of the products to their skin within a month.

Understanding that having beautiful skin is everyone’s dream, Mrs Akiko Yokota strongly believes that having beautiful skin can be a reality using the 10 serums that cater to different skin needs. Hence, she decided to share this wonder with everyone from all parts of the world. Over the years, without doubt the quality of V10 products had been recognized world-wide and the demand is constantly on the rise. V10 is currently distributed in Europe, Russia, Japan, Hongkong, Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, and Indonesia.

Out of the 11 serums that V10 Plus offers, I got the Biocell and Vitamin C in small 10ml bottles to try out. These serums are contained in clear dropper bottles and are regularly sized at 30ml. Biocell has a light orange color while the Vitamin C serum is yellow.

These two serums have different consistencies. The Biocell serum has a thicker consistency as compared to Vitamin C, which is more runny and thinner. Although different in thickness, they are both absorbed by the skin easily and leave no lasting scent. At this time, I have been using these serums for at least 3 months. I’ve been alternating them in the morning (I have different serums at night, haha) and I enjoy patting them on my face after an essence and before my moisturizer. Two drops is enough for my face and neck even if the instructions say three.

2 weeks ago I received a package sent from V10 Plus. They kindly sent the products for me to review and I happily tried it since I have been wanting to try the serum which raved by so many people–my favorite bloggers used it too. SO here is my thoughts on V10 Plus Water Based Peeling Gel and V10 Plus Anti Aging Series Serum.

V10 Plus is a skincare brand from Japan that used Natural ingredients for their products. Akiko Yokota, the founder of V10 Plus created 11 different serums for various skin conditions. It is the first brand that brings Skin Supplement concept, as now there are other skincare brands to have the same concept. Interesting, huh? The brand has so many International beauty awards. And the good thing is, the brand doesn’t use Paraben, Chemical Fragrance, Artificial Color, and Mineral Oil in their products. YAAAAY (*≧ω≦*)

For the serum they have 11 different types with certain color. They have Quasi, Ceramide, Vitamin C, Vitamin A, Biocell, Hyaluronic Acid, Placenta, Licorice, Amino, Collagen, and Pyctogenol. You can choose which serum that goes for your troubled skin.

Let’s talk about the serum first because I’m super excited to try it.

I got the Anti-aging Series sample set, consist of Biocell, Hyaluronic Acid, and Collagen. At first I was hoping to get the Acne Treatment Series because my main concern is acne, but oh well. I was told to use the serum all 3 kinds together. I was like: really?? Is it okay to use these formulas together?! So I braced myself, praying that my face won’t upset and no more breakouts popping out of blue. But now that I’m in my mid 20s, I’ll never say no to anti-aging skincare. Biocell is for cell-regeneration, anti-wrinkle, and anti-melanin production; Hyaluronic Acid works as natural moisturizer; and Collagen is to keep skin-elasticity.

The direction usage is to apply the serum right after wash the face clean. I’m using 2 methods: in the morning I apply the serum after toner and essence, at night I use it after cleanse face. One drop from each serum, so 3 drops for the entire face. The 3 serums have almost the same formula: very lightweight, doesn’t have any scent, and feel a bit sticky when first applied, though each serum has slightly different appearance. Collagen is the runniest and very watery among the three, Biocell has yellowish tone in the product, while Hyaluronic Acid is a little thicker than the others. Nonetheless, they don’t have harmful ingredients.

Before and After 10 days

The brand manager said the products work within 10 days. I tried it for about 2 weeks and have seen some changes on my skin. First I want to mention it: The serums DON’T break me out. The thing about having sensitive, acne-prone skin is you’ll always be cautious of new stuff. I’m still analyzing what ingredients that cause acnes but it can also from my eating or hormonal situation. Anyway, the significant change is that the discoloration on my complexion has gone or at least lessened. The forehead doesn’t look paler anymore! I used to look like a sad zombie since I have paler complexion with dark eye bags and dull, so dull. The serums kinda brightened up the face. They didn’t lighten my skin. Only make it looks fresher than I used to. The serums soften the flaring pores around the nose, too. My skin feels soft, plump, and looks waaay better than before. I mean, some dark spots seem to be faded as well. It is as if I got the glow from the inside (by also keeping your skin hydrated ^^) I LOVE THE SERUMS! I will purchase the Anti-aging Series, after I tried the other serums I’m having in line right now…

Moving on to the Water Based Peeling Gel!

I guess the only peeling gel that I tried is Cure Aqua Natural Gel. I like it because it doesn’t irritate my skin. I so used to it that I feel it doesn’t work that much now. Time for a new peeling gel and it came!

This peeling gel has active ingredients such as Rice extract as antioxidant, to fight free-radicals; Sea Weed extract as a natural cure and also to keep moisture. Both work as anti-aging agents.

There are 9 functions of the Water Based Peeling:

1. To clear dead skin cells
2. to prevent acne
3. to regenerate skin cells
4. to keep makeup stays in place and looks natural
5. to maintain the nutrients absorption
6. to clean blackheads
7. to brighten and smooth skin
8. to lessen acne spots
9. to balance the oil skin

This sounds promising I was so thrilled to try it!

My take on this Water Based Peeling is: it works! As the product claims the functions!

I definitely feels the peeling gel brightens and smooths the skin. It also reduces my dark spots from healed pimples and makes my makeup looks better! I don’t see much flakiness and pores. It holds makeup pretty good, either! Must be good things inside the peeling gel :))

All in all, the skincare products from V10 Plus: Water Based Peeling gel and Serums set are A++++
