Multi-Action R&R Eye Cream
StriVectin’s Multi-Action R&R Eye Cream claims to address every age-related concern you might have for your eye area, but its fragrance-free formula falls short—and so does the packaging.
First, the packaging: Since this eye cream, like so many others, is packaged in a jar, the majority of its anti-aging ingredients won’t remain effective from first to last use. See More Info for details.
Next up is the formula itself: It’s not bad; in fact, in better packaging this eye cream would rank among the best. But even then, it can’t make good on all of its claims to fight signs of aging around the eyes. For example, no eye cream can lift sagging eyelids or have a pronounced effect on dark circles. At best, this will smooth, provide some visible firmness, and soften the look of lines and wrinkles.
Unlike most eye creams, this one contains synthetic coloring agents. Perhaps this combined with the brightening pigments also included is what the brand means by giving skin “an instant shot of energy”, but the effect is only cosmetic; your eyes won’t “feel” more energized when this is applied.
What this does remarkably well is hydrate dry skin around the eyes. The numerous plant oils and skin-softening emollients feel lusciously creamy and ably protect eye-area skin from moisture loss.
