I sometimes get migraines accompanied with vertigo and I’ll have the problem for weeks unless I take this Butterbur. If I’m having trouble I can take two capsules in the morning and two at night and the vertigo disappears. My head goes back to normal and I can think clearly again, but it has to be this particular NOW brand of Butterbur. Don’t like to be without it!

I’ve been using this for my migraines, after reading some research and listening to some experts on migraine. I have suffered from migraines for a long time. Even if they go in the background, the quality of life suffers. And my job is to think with my head. The butterbur was my salvation, although I did not have high hopes for it. If you don’t have a lot of headaches, I would try taking it when you have a headache. If you do have frequent headaches I would take it every day as directed. I myself take it every day.

The lable doesn’t mention an extract, just plain (dried) feverfew herb.
Normally the feverfew is there as a standard herb (not extract, otherwise it would say so). Feverfew is rather strong, an extract is not really needed in this capsule (against migraine). One can buy separate stronger feverfew if needed.
0% PA. I use it now for 3, 5 years every day.
Butternut has always been an extract as long as I have bought it and it has included feverfew as a herb. I buy the 60 veg capsules. Butternut is 75 mg and Feverfew is 200 mg. My neurologist had me use 1 capsule a day with my other medications for migraines and so far it has worked.
I take it with another product (Migralief-M) that contains 100mg feverfew and have only noticed positive effects.
