For the amount of money I paid for the eye cream, I expected something top-quality. I’m not sure if the eye cream just didn’t work for me or if this is a subpar product generally. To be honest, I much prefer the Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair over this one. It is much affordably priced and does the job pretty well. However, the top eye cream I’ve ever used has to be the Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Eye Concentrate which is creamy and performs incredibly well. When I finish this tub of Estée Lauder, I’m going to get Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Eye Concentrate again. Just because there are tons of rave reviews over a product doesn’t necessarily mean that the product will work for you. I’ve had to find this one out the hard way. Let us start with the packaging – the cream comes in an amber-colored thick plastic tub. The tub looks to be made of glass, but I am thankful it is plastic. The tub comes in usual EL blue colored carton which is almost double its size and contains product details. They have also provided an applicator/spatula along with it and I am glad that they did, though I would have any day preferred tube packing. The tub packing is not only unhygienic, but also, I doubt how long would the ingredients stay effective with regular exposure. Anyway, the applicator is really good and the ball shape picks up enough product for a single use. Just a light dip would do else it picks up more product.

And boy. it does work. I am using this cream twice daily for 5+ weeks now and I see a major change in my under eye area. The fine lines have drastically reduced as well as dark circles. The puffiness is gone and no matter how less or badly I sleep, this cream makes me look awake and my under eye area is getting better day by day. Though there is no difference in the wrinkles yet, but I guess they would take some more time.
Also, when I started using the cream, in just 2 weeks, I saw major change in dark circles but since then, they are more or less same, I don’t have major dark circles to begin with. But then no cream can totally eradicate them if I don’t sleep well. 😉 So yes, do get you beauty sleep girls and drink a lot of water as well, along with using the product. 🙂
The cream is super pricey. And you get just .5 oz for almost 60 bucks. :O But yes, just a teeny bit is needed. I use it twice a day and I guess the tub would last me another 2-3 weeks, that means a tub holds good for me for around 2 months.
