My Experience
I have nothing but positive things to say about Edge Entity. I saw great results in seven days and my edges were back in action by the end of the first month. That being said, I did use this product in a very specific way.
My initial method involved:

Edge Entity Review: The Edge Saver!

Last year (May 2016), I had a run in with a stylist who braided my hair and installed a weave so tight that it literally ripped my edges from hair from my follicles in days…as in, I went from having edges one day to having no edges the next. Okay, that may have been a slight exaggeration with regards to the timing of my hair loss, but the truth is I loss my edges within two weeks of having this weave installed. It was tragic.

The truth is I did not choose to use Edge Entity – I simply ran out of options. After five months of trying to re-grow my edges with Jamaican Black Castor Oil mixed with peppermint oil, Wild Growth, Gro Aut Oil, and a couple of other highly recommended growth aids, I caved and purchased a growth crème from an Instagram company I had been stalking for at least three months. That company was Edge Entity. After a week of using Edge Entity, I was transformed from a skeptic to a believer and lifetime customer.

Price: 2oz – $25.99 and 4oz – $45.99

What are the ingredients in Edge Entity?
Simondsia chinensis (jojoba plant extract), Argania spinosa L. (argan oil), M. balsamea Willd (peppermint extract), Stearic acid, Oleic acid (omega-9 fatty acid), Linoleic acid (an omega-6 fatty acid), Linolenic acid (an omega-3 fatty acid), Petrolatum, Persea americana (avocado extract), Riciunus communis (castor oil), Triethanolamine, Coconut milk, Mineral oil, Glycerol, Purified water

My Experience
I have nothing but positive things to say about Edge Entity. I saw great results in seven days and my edges were back in action by the end of the first month. That being said, I did use this product in a very specific way.
My initial method involved:

  1. Using the Edge Entity four times a day for the first few weeks. After I was happy with the results, I reduced my use to two times a day;
  2. Cleansing my edges prior to applying Edge Entity to my problem areas; and
  3. Massaging my hair for at least two to five minutes upon application and then five to ten minutes after each complete application.

Since my edges have grown in, my method has changed. I use it twice a day accompanied by a massage. Nowadays, I use it all over my scalp to help promote general hair growth.

Is it worth the investment?
I definitely think it is worth the investment. Yes, it is a tad bit pricey, but I do believe you get your money’s worth – i.e. you get your edges back! I would recommend this to anyone who is suffering from thinning edges as a result of tight weaves, braids, or twists. On Edge Entity’s Instagram page, there is a plethora of pictures and testimonials that will give you a better sense of its capabilities.

My Results
I did capture my results in this video – skip to 2:39 for my results!

I didn’t take before pics either, but I think its still early enough that I can take some to use at the end.

Edge Entity

I’m sure this thread will probably drain this woman’s supply but..

I really think it’s working and quickly too lol Outside of my normal MHM regimen it’s the only topical product I’ve been consistent with for the past two weeks and I’ve noticed a great improvement in my temple area.

Anyone else used it with success?

I’m kind of peeved that the “all natural ingredients” are not listed though. Is that legal?

The pics on Instagram look promising. I may have to buy this.

@Baha_Ma, I just re-read your post. You’re using this!? Yeah, I hate when they don’t list ingredients, too. I just want to know what’s in the product.

I didn’t take before pics but I definitely think it’s working. The prominent ingredient smells and tingles like peppermint oil. I ordered it twice already and contemplating ordering it again but the tub is so small. For anyone else who’s tried it please confirm if you experienced any results.

It should also be noted that I’m pregnant, taking vitamin code prenatal, prenatal omega dha, jbco twice weekly and loosely follow the MHM method. However I’ve noticed a significant spurt in growth on my edges when I started this product.

I recently started using this on my thin spots on my edges, and wasnt absolutely sure, but made mention to my sister the other day that I think it was working. That was within my first week of use. The directions say to use twice a day, and I have been forgetting for this past week. Im going to try to do this properly, and let you know if it works. I am not using anything else.

I didn’t take before pics either, but I think its still early enough that I can take some to use at the end.

This was her response to my email:

Womp womp. I did get my order today and low and behold, the ingredients are listed on the back. I’ll put them below since the image is blurry:

Ingredients: simmondsia chinensis (jojoba plant extract), argania spinosa L. (argan oil), balsamea willd (peppermint extract), stearic acid, oleic acid (omega-9 fatty acid), linoleic acid (a omega-6 fatty acid), petrolatum, persea American (avocado extract), rincinus communis (castor oil), triethanolamine, coconut milk, mineral oil, glycerol, purified water

It also came with instructions, which tell you to wash your edges first so that they’re clean before using. I’ve been using some other stuff on my edges so I’ll wash them, but not my whole head since I have braids in underneath my wig and apply tonight.

Your Hair Deserves Some TLC All Year

I laugh every time I watch @yesimprettyvee and her video promoting Infinite Growth Oil!

She takes the joy of hair growth to a whole different level. The truth is this is precisely how we feel when we see our hair growing. Some of you are stuck with the same areas of your scalp, beard, or brows that seem never to improve, but you don’t have to keep dealing with it.

Treat yourself and invest in one of the products above. I guarantee you, with consistency, you will see a difference in your those thinning and bald patches.

According to Emmanuel, apply products if your hair feels dry. “You do not have to use the product every day. Limit the use of flatirons around the edges, and only use heat on clean hair. If you have excess product and buildup on the hair, you should not use heat because this can cause your hair to fry and break off.

4. Don’t believe the hype

Contrary to the ads you see, there is no special product or technique needed to keep your edges moisturized. “The conditioners, oils, and moisturizers that are applied to other parts of the hair can be applied to the hairline,” explains Williams. “I think that so much time and effort is put into smoothing/slicking down hairs that are meant to curl, that we are destroying our scalps. The best technique is to be gentle and not pull them, brush them and slick them every so often.”

If you feel like you need a bit of hydration, Emmanuel recommends water-based products for all-over moisture retention.”If you have natural hair, I recommend Design Essentials Almond and Avocado Curling Crème, Miss Jessie’s Curly Butter Crème, or Jane Carter Hair Nourishing Cream. For relaxed hair, I recommend Pantene Oil Crème Moisturizer, Affirm StyleRight Light Hair Dress Crème, or the Decca Scalp Therapy.”

Our formula cools and soothes your scalp while energizing your hair follicles to help your hair grow fuller and healthier in one simple step.

As simple as 1, 2.. That’s it.

Gently clean the area with a warm, damp washcloth before applying. Apply a thin layer of Follicle Enhancer directly to problem areas and massage in with your fingertips until completely absorbed. Enjoy the refreshing, cooling tingle of natural peppermint as the product begins to do its work! Use twice daily for best results.
