What is it?

Cebria is a daily supplement used for brain support, particularly in older adults. This supplement helps improve age-related memory loss symptoms like confusion, forgetting names or where something is, as well as overall brain fog.

Cebria works by supplementing the brain’s natural level of neuropeptides, which play a critical role in short term memory. As a result, Cebria users are reportedly able to think more quickly and remember more information.

Our review experts have found Memotenz is the most effective solution for improving memory and cognitive function, with no physical side effects. To learn more about Memotenz and how it can improve your brain capacity, click the link here.

Cebria Ingredients and Side Effects

Fortunately, the makers of Cebria have posted an official product label on the website. We don’t know the full dosage of each item included on this list, but here’s a look at what can be found inside the proprietary blend:

L-Arginine Lysine Leuceine Aspartic Acid Histidine Methionine
Serine Phenylaline Threonine Tryptophan Tyrosine

L-Arginine: An essential amino acid that converts inside the body into a chemical known as nitric oxide, L-arginine is useful in widening the blood vessels to deliver more blood to the muscles and brain, resulting in more energy and improved athletic performance.

Serine: A non-essential amino acid that helps synthesize RNA and DNA, serine is thought to help improve memory, focus and mood with use.

Lysine: An amino acid to treat cold sores, prevent herpes from spreading and improve athletic performance.

Phenylaline: An amino acid with benefits that have not been widely explored, it is thought to potentially have an effect on mood, as it is a precursor for the body’s producton of dopamine.

Threonine: An amino acid used to treat nervous system disorders, this ingredient changes inside the body into a chemical known as glycine. Glycine reduces unwanted muscle spasms.

  • In some cases, users may experience mild side effects such as headache, nausea or a rash.

Tyrosine: An amino acid used to help those with depression, ADHD and other brain-related conditions, tyrosine may also help reduce stress and alleviate withdrawal symptoms in recovering addicts.

  • Though tyrosine is safe for most people, in large doses, it may cause users to experience joint pain, headaches, heart burn or fatigue.

Histidine: An amino acid essential for healthy sexual function and supporting the central nervous system, histidine is converted to histamine in the body, which alerts the body to any allergens passing through.

Methionine: An amino acid found in a number of foods, methionine plays a key role in many cellular functions within the body.

  • In large doses, methionine may increase homocysteine in the body, which may contribute to heart disease. It may also lead to the growth of certain tumors.

Tryptophan: An essential amino acid found in a number of high-protein foods, tryptophan is used to treat ADHD, improve athletic performance, depression, anxiety and help users quit smoking. The body converts tryptophan into 5-HTP, then into serotonin, which helps improve mood by transmitting signals between nerve cells.

Cebria Quality of Ingredients

In looking over the Cebria formula, this product seems this product relies almost exclusively on amino acids to deliver the benefits, and provides a slight stimulant effect through the use of caffeine.

According to the product webpage, the effects this product has on the user’s workout is supposed to carry over into other aspects of their life, particularly where sex is concerned.

Now, amino acids are essential for certain systems to function and provide a range of benefits to those taking amino supplements, but it seems that the sexual benefits are a potential secondary benefit to using this product, rather than its primary function.

The logic here is akin to saying that eating healthy and exercising will lead to better health or that it may improve your libido and stamina—which is true in many cases, but not if someone has a sexual disorder or another health problem.

That being said, Cebria does seem to have some good benefits, and perhaps the amino blend is all some people need.

The Price and Quality of Cebria

The normal price for Cebria is $39.95 for a bottle containing 30 pills, which is equal to a one-month supply. It seems this product is only for sale through the official Cebria webpage, which does not appear to allow new consumers to just order a bottle of the product.

Instead, new customers enter their information for a “risk-free” trial offer at $9.95 for shipping and handling. The offer actually sends the user two bottle of Cebria, but charges $39.99 for the second bottle 30 days after placing the order. Customers must cancel before the 30 days is up, otherwise, they are enrolled in a 60-day automatic billing cycle.

While the free offer might seem like a good idea, it may be more trouble than its worth for a number of consumers, as they’ll be forced to call and cancel or be subject to ongoing charges.

Business of Cebria

The company that makes Cebria is known as Cebria LLC. or if they are a standalone company. Here is the contact information as published on their website:

Phone: 800-214-8347

Address: 4910 Longley Lane

Suite 101
Reno, NV 89502

The Cebria website does contain a lot of information about the loss of neuropeptides and how it effects the brain. There are a few videos, both commercials and recorded testimonials, as well as some information about the doctors that created the product.

In a lot of ways, Cebria LLC seems like a fairly transparent company, and does a decent job explaining what some may consider a complex topic.

But, as we mentioned above, our main issue with Cebria isn’t so much the formula or whether the product is legitimate, it’s the marketing.

This product targets older adults that want to reclaim some of their cognition or just feel a bit sharper. It seems like opting to enroll users in an automatic pay cycle may make things more complicated for users who may not want to keep ordering the product. The 60-day pay cycle makes it easy to forget to cancel each time it lapses.

Cebria LLC has an A rating with the Better Business Bureau, despite a negative review and nine registered complaints. Most of the problems documented on the organization’s site were in regards to billing issues, particularly the autopay, as well as a lack of clarity in the return policy.

EDITOR’S TIP: For the best results, our experts recommend using brain enhancement supplements for at least 3 months. Save your money by buying a few bottles at once.

Customer Opinions of Cebria

There aren’t many reviews for Cebria posted online, but we were able to locate some accounts of those who had tried it. Keep in mind, we’re working with a relatively small sample size here.

“My mother was recently diagnosed with dementia, though she’s only in the first stages. I’m not sure if this is intended for people with dementia, but I am able to tell whether or not she has taken these pills.”

“They seem to work pretty well. I don’t have any major memory issues, but just wanted to feel a bit sharper and more in control over my brain.”

It seems this product shows some promise, particularly from the person who mentioned their mother had shown some improvements despite being diagnosed with dementia.

Cebria could very well be useful in helping maintain short term memory into old age, but we don’t have enough information to know whether these results are typical or not.

Conclusion – Does Cebria Work?

After looking closely Cebria it seems this product could be a good solution for those concerned about their brain as they move toward old age. While we don’t know if the product produces consistent results, it may be worth a try for a number of consumers.

One thing we didn’t like about Cebria was the way the company chose to market the product. Rather than providing good clear information, they’ve opted to attach a free trial offer to an ongoing billing cycle that re-ups their supply every two months. Someone on the BBB webpage mentioned their elderly father didn’t realize they were signing up for a subscription and felt as though they were being taken advantage of.

Aside from the issue concerning how Cebria is sold, we don’t see any major problems with the formula or any of the ingredients. While we did appreciate the information included on the webpage, it would have been nice to see a bit more details on how the product works, and whether it’s useful in people who are younger, but want to maintain optimal short term memory function.

We’ve found Memotenz works best for improving learning, memory and overall cognition. Made from a formula with herbal ingredients including glutamine, St. John’s Wort and more, this product safely increases brain power, without any negative side effects.

The makers of Memotenz have made this product following current GMP standards, and have subjected the formula to ongoing third party testing to ensure consumers receive a safe and reliable product. To learn more about the benefits of Memotenz, click here.

Cebria Ultra Blend

Cebria Ultra Blend

Cebria, developed by Ever-Neuro Pharma, is a nootropic supplement designed to combat age-related short-term memory loss. For this reason, the product is mostly targeted at seniors and those above the age of 60, although the manufacturers state that the formula is suitable for all ages. If the product seems familiar to you, that may be because you’ve seen it at TV infomercials before. Cebria does a very good job advertising their brand to the public and reaching out to those who may be interested in improving memory capacity.

One thing we know for sure about Cebria is that it has been manufactured by one of the best and well established supplement company / research group in the world. Ever-Neuro Pharma is a European pharmaceutical company that works with expert scientific researchers and neurologists in the business. Since the company was found back in 1934 in Vienna, their aim has been to create high-quality products that can improve the well-being and living quality of people. The neurologists involved in the production of Cebria have been researching about age-related memory loss and diseases such as Alzheimer’s for decades, making them the well-educated and respectable scientists that they are.

Is Cebria the miracle memory-boosting product that we’ve all been waiting to find? Or is it just another scam supplement that robs you blind? In order to justify, we must look through the ingredients extensively.

Cebria Ingredients

  • Full Ingredients List:
Proprietary blend 282.8 mg including Lactose, Glutamic acid, Lysine, Leucine, Arginine, Aspartic acid, Serine, Phenylalanine, Valine, Threonine, Tyrosine, Isoleucine, Histidine, Methionine, Tryptophan.

Before we get into what these ingredients really are and what they can do, it’s important to understand Cebria’s mechanism of action. The product’s developers are focused on our brain’s neuropeptide production. Here’s the main gist of it everyday, short webs known as neuropeptides are created in the brain that connect neurons together. Without these connections, our neurons would have a difficult time communicating with each other, meaning we would be incapable of forming new memories. When we get older, the production of these neuropeptides naturally decrease, leading to deteriorating memory recall and decreasing memory capacity.

Cebria is meant to fix this problem by supporting and increasing the production of neuropeptides in the brain, which would essentially turn back the hand of the clock by a few years. Sounds too good to be true, doesn’t it? Well, whether or not Cebria’s formula works is arguable, but we do know what each of the ingredients in the product can do.

Most of these ingredients are amino acids, which are in charge of protein synthesis. All of these amino acids, although similar in physical structure, can lead to different chemical reactions and thus different benefits. For instance, Arginine has been shown to help with learning abilities and the formation of memory. Meanwhile, Lysine is another essential amino acid that can be used to decrease anxiety and brain fog. The best thing about these ingredients is that they’ve all undergone an immense amount of clinical research.

But has Cebria’s formula as a whole been tested? Well, this part gets a bit tricky. The manufacturers of Cebria cleverly mentioned in their ads that their formula has been tested in a study where users were able to improve their memory significantly within 30 days. They say that this study was published in the International Clinical Psychopharmacology journal, but we had a hard time finding a copy of this particular research…perhaps you will have better luck finding it?

Test Results: Cebria

At first, we assumed that it would be completely pointless to test out the product for ourselves since the formula is intended mostly for seniors. But the manufacturers did say that Cebria can work on everyone, so we decided to check out whether we could get the same results as the participants in the supposedly conducted Cebria study – who claimed to have improved their memory decay by 10-15 years.

What do you guys think happened? That’s right, even after two weeks of giving Cebria a try, we definitely did not feel a life-changing improvement in memory recall. Then again, considering the fact that most of us are 30 year-olds, shouldn’t we have gained the memory capacity that we had when we were 15 year-old high-schoolers?

On the flip side, we must say that we did see some type of memory enhancement. One tester, for instance, was more capable of remembering their day-to-day schedule without missing out on or being late to important meetings. Another tester stopped struggling so much to find his car in the parking lot after work hours. But again, these results weren’t notable enough to boast about.

JustAnotherSchmo from Amazon.com

“[…]I forgot to cancel the deal and received the follow up pills and was billed for 89.95. Naturally I was ticked but those were the terms. I am normally spot on about cancelling these front end loaded deals, but this one slipped thru the cracks. So, I called cs, requested the subscrpiption be cancelled and asked for an email confirmation from Angel. She went to her supervisor for how to accomplish this. Came back to me and said it takes 2 days. Hard to believe they don’t have the capability to send a receipt but I accepted it. Needless to say, nothing came so I called back. Was told there was no allowance for an email receipt in the system, I said, What? first rep tells me one thing, 2nd rep tells me the opposite? Then, just take your word I am not being charged for this? I asked for a supervisor, spoke with Mr Ramirez, who said he would him request an email receipt be sent out. Yes, I received it 2 days later. Next step is seeing if a charge shows up again in 60 days, which I have on my calendar and will not pass it by this time. Anytime I have dealt with a vendor that doesn’t have the capability to issue a receipt for cancellation, yet issues a receipt for purchase has ALWAYS ended with problems. I would not deal with this company again, nor would I recommend anyone else to do so. First, the product didn’t work, Second, the canellation process is a burden. The two weeks I used this product, cost me $100. This is how they do business. Don’t get caught by the money back guarantee because the price goes to $45 a month after the promo expires.”

Side Effects

Did any of our testers experience side effects? No. And we should be absolutely grateful about that because there are some complaints posted on Amazon.com. One customer, for instance, “felt haszy and not like myself.”

Particularly if you are currently using any other medications, we would highly recommend you to consult with your physician before getting yourself the product.

Pricing

This part we’re not too happy about. First of all, when you get on Cebria’s official website, you will literally get smothered with signs convincing you to get their “risk-free 30-day trial.” Let us tell you something about these free trials – 1. They’re not actually free because you still have to pay for shipping and 2. It’s set up this way because you have to plug in your credit card information and agree to be charged every month to receive the product. And cancelling your subscription takes a lot of time and a lot of effort because there’s definitely a chance that the customer service folks won’t cooperate.

But if you happen to be interested in getting Cebria, then here’s how it works. You get on their website and sign up for the free trial. You type in your personal information and credit card details, then you will be charged $9.95 for shipping. You will receive a pack of Cebria, which will last you a month. At the end of the month, you will automatically be charged $89.95 for 2 bottles or two months worth of supply ($39.95 per bottle + $9.95 shipping). If you just look at the price of each pack ($39.95), it’s actually quite affordable. But the fact that you have to pay 2 months in advance and be subscribed to a company that you may not necessarily stay a fan of, is a bit inconvenient.

RECAP: Pro’s vs Con’s

Pro’s:
– Contains amino acids that may help cognitive function
Con’s:
– Inconvenient purchasing system
– Formula may not bring results as promised

The Bottom Line

Cebria is a memory-enhancing product designed for seniors who either want to boost their current short-term memory or protect against age-related memory decay. The way memory is formed and stored in the brain is quite complicated and involves a lot of different factors. For this reason, we don’t think that taking 12 different amino acids each day can fix the problem. Then again, a few Cebria customers have found luck with the product. If you wish to try out Cebria, be aware of the purchasing system and how it requires you to subscribe to their company (meaning you get automatically charged per month). We suggest giving the 30-day trial a try and then cancelling your subscription if you’re not a fan of the product. Just remember to be patient while trying to do so because it may not be as simple as it sounds. Thus far, we’re still loving our Editors’ Top Choice for seniors, Lumonol Wisdom.
