Infowars Brain Force Plus Review

Infowars Brain Force Plus is a capsule supplement produced by the controversial Infowars brand, founded by Alex Jones.

Brain Force Plus capsules are supposed to boost cognitive function, increase energy levels, and promote a healthier and “younger” state of health.

Although the Infowars brand has received an enormous amount of hate and is well-known for being one of the most right-wing, conspiracy theory-centered websites out there, these capsules are popular!

Therefore, I’m keen to take a closer look at both the company and in particular the Infowars Brain Force Plus, to see if the products are actually as bad as everyone says they are, or if they stand apart from the tainted company.

Another key ingredient is yerba mate leaf powder. Yerba mate leaf is perfect for when you want to reduce physical tiredness and mental fatigue. If taken in the morning, you’ll be able to feel the effects throughout the day and not feel the least bit tired. If you are constantly dealing with the drag of mental and physical fatigue, then this will definitely be a great supplement to try out. Sometimes, coffee or any kind of caffeinated beverage may not be enough. Not only that, but yerba mate does also contains lesser amounts of caffeine. This means you will be less likely to crash throughout the day. This would be a good time to take the caffeine down a notch and give something different a try, so you don’t have to risk any crashes midway through the day.

What is it?

Brain Force is a nootropic supplement and cognitive function aid developed and endorsed by the popular talk radio host Alex Jones. It is marketed as a mental performance optimizer, helping users get the most out of their mental abilities.

They say that it boosts users’ energy levels and helps them stay focused and alert for longer periods of time. Jones claims that he worked personally with his staff for over a year to develop their formula, which he says improves neural health, stress levels, and blood flow to the brain.

The top-rated nootropic available without a prescription is Memotenz. It has received numerous accolades from within the industry, including the highest possible ratings from our own panel of experts. Click here to read more about all of the ways that Memotenz can improve your mental performance.

Brain Force Ingredients and Side Effects

Bacopa Herb Extract Yerba Mate Leaf Powder
Theobromine L-Theanine

Bacopa Herb Extract: One of the most common nootropic ingredients in use today. Bacopa monnieri, also known as water hyssop or brahmi, is a creeping vine that grows in marshes and other wetlands that has shown remarkable use for improving brain function.

Bacopa helps the dendrites in the neurons of the brain grow longer and stronger, making neural connections easier to form. It may also be beneficial for increasing blood flow throughout the body and to the brain in particular.

This has shown to be beneficial for the production of acetylcholine, serotonin and dopamine and can have positive effects on memory, cognition, and the brain’s ability to deal with stress and anxiety.

It is also an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent that is useful for preventing cognitive decline and the onset of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. It is generally healthy for most users, making it one of our experts’ most highly recommended ingredients for nootropic-type products.

Yerba Mate Leaf Powder: A South American tree whose leaves can be used to brew a commonly consumed tea. Yerba mate is high in caffeine, as well as other xanthines, flavonoids, and saponins.

It is thought to have a fat-burning effect based on increased metabolism and on higher rates of fat oxidation. Due to the caffeine, it also increases heart rate and blood pressure.

The caffeine in yerba mate is an issue for a nootropic product due to the two-sided nature of the stimulant. It causes increases in mental function for a short period of time, but then there is a stark decrease after it wears off.

There are no other mental benefits to using yerba mate, and it has not ever been shown to be effective for increasing memory function, thinking speed or accuracy, or any other metric that would qualify it as an effective nootropic.

Yerba mate has no side effects other than those related to the caffeine, however caffeine is associated with a considerable amount of potential negative consequences. Side effects that can potentially result from caffeine usage include:

  • Sweating and body odor
  • Headaches
  • High blood pressure
  • Stroke
  • Heart attack
  • Death

Theobromine: A chemical that is structurally similar to caffeine, though it is thought to be less potent. Theobromine is an alkaloid that is extracted from cacao beans, tea leaves, or cola nuts.

Theobromine can have both sedative and stimulatory effects, depending on the dosage level and tolerance of the user. Smaller levels tend to have relaxing sedative qualities, whereas larger doses act as nervous system stimulants.

Theobromine has no known nootropic effects, however similar to caffeine users that are fatigued will see a return to their normal intellectual baselines. It has no applications for memory, thinking accuracy, problem solving or any other traditional measures of a nootropic product.

Theobromine has similar potential side effects as caffeine, although its effects on blood pressure tend to be less pronounced. Theobromine has been linked to tremors as well, including in the limbs and the face.

L-Theanine: An amino acid that is not considered to be one of the essential aminos. L-Theanine is known for its relaxing effects but is not generally considered a sedative.

L-Theanine is often paired with caffeine in order to counteract some of its side effects related to irritability and anxiety. It has been used as a sleep aid, though not because it suppresses central nervous function.

L-Theanine is not considered a nootropic aid. It has no value for increasing memory, cognition, or any other mental performance metric.

L-Theanine is thought to be safe for nearly all users. It is non-toxic, non-carcinogenic, non-mutagenic, and non-allergenic.

Brain Force Quality of Ingredients

The ingredients blend for Brain Force features one of the most effective nootropic agents on the planet, and three other ingredients that are not even considered nootropics. This is not usually a favorable ratio for products of this nature.

Bacopa monnieri is a genuine nootropic agent because it physiologically affects the way the brain works and has shown clear links to improved memory function, cognition, and mood. The other three additives have no mental performance benefits in healthy adults with normal brain function.

Caffeine in particular can even have detrimental effects on attention and focus, and when it wears off mental performance can decline steeply. It is also associated with quite a few different potential side effects, some of them serious.

The Price and Quality of Brain Force

Brain Force is sold through the Infowars Store, as well as through several third-party distributors. In general, users can find it for sale in the following price range:

  • 1, 36-count bottle of Brain Force capsules: $29.95-$39.99

Brain Force’s directions for use suggest two capsules per day, which means that each bottle is less than one month’s worth of product. This makes it more expensive than average for products of this type.

Business of Brain Force

Brain Force is a product of Infowars Life, a supplements line that is produced by talk show personality Alex Jones, the host of the Infowars radio show. The contact info for Infowars Life is posted as:

Phone Number: (888) 253-3139

Infowars has a negative overall rating with the Better Business Bureau, and the online business review site lists them with more 1-star ratings than any other score from their previous customers. There are a number of critiques that could be made about Jones, including the fact that he uses his position on the radio to sell low-quality, ineffective products to his listeners.

EDITOR’S TIP: For the best results, our experts recommend using brain enhancement supplements for at least 3 months. Save your money by buying a few bottles at once.

Customer Opinions of Brain Force

The responses from former customers that have used his products have not been favorable. Here are some of the critiques that have appeared on independent retailers and consumer rights websites:

“I bought this stuff because Alex told me this is what would help me turn the corner mentally, but it hasn’t really worked. I just get all jittery, I can’t sit still, and then I pass out without accomplishing anything.”

“The real conspiracy is Jones’ garbage products that he sells to ignorant people that believe his lies. I used to be one of them, but not after my horrible experience with Brain Force.”

“When I took Brain Force I thought I was going to have a heart attack, and then the diarrhea started. I tried to return the product, but they were rude and ignored me.”

People are very upset with both the quality of the overall product and the fact that are disappointed with Jones personally for convincing them to buy it. There are quite a few reports of side effects, most of which are consistent with those mentioned for caffeine.

Conclusion – Does Brain Force Work?

When our research team evaluates a product they primarily look at the quality of its ingredients blend, the reputation of the manufacturer, and the responses from the people that have actually used it. By all of these accounts, Brain Force fails to establish itself as a quality nootropic supplement.

They cut their one useful ingredient, bacopa monnieri, with cheap stimulants and sedatives that are neither considered healthy nor effective. Alex Jones and Infowars both have an extremely negative reputation within the scientific, medical, and business worlds, and their products are considered low-quality in general.

Lastly, the vast majority of their previous users have negative things to say about their experiences with the product. There is no better judge of how effective a supplement can be than the results it gets from normal people, and they largely have not had positive things to say about its effects.

The nootropic that has gotten the best feedback from its past users is Memotenz. It’s received consistent 5-star responses and glowing write-ups on all of the independent sites that have covered it.

Our review team gave it the highest marks of any supplement that they have previously analyzed. Click here to read their full write up about Memotenz and its effects on the brain.

I felt pretty good on brain force plus but when I stopped taking it I felt a relatively large crash afterwards.

I took Brain Force because I believed it was the nootropic that would help me become brighter and see the radical leftwing illuminati conspiracy taking place before our very eyes but hidden from view by the mainstream media. When I started taking it I felt dazed at first and then start shaking and then my friends said I stink. One week later I gained weight and was screaming a lot and slamming my fist on the desk. My penis shrank from 4 inches erect to 3.2 inches erect. I fell into a depression and was sure this bottle was spiked by the reptilians and that the real bottle was stolen. Please Alex help meh.

I bought it but wasnt expecting much based on this sites reviews. I was pleasantly surprised. I felt alert and focused. I guess it helps to have no expectations so when it actually works its a pleasant surprise rather than have rave reviews and be disappointed when it doesnt work.

I got my bottle about three weeks ago and started taking the suggested dose everyday. Everything actually felt great. I first noticed that my head was clearing of its usual brain fog and I started to see life for what it really is. I think the clarity these pill provide proved too powerful, as I started to open my third eye and see that nothing is what it seems. I questioned everything and everyone involved in my life. I never considered myself a stubborn person, but these pills helped me see that I’m actually extremely skilled at research and therefore have become a one-man-army of facts that shield me from ever being wrong. It’s true. I also heard rumors about this secondary effect, but I did actually start growing to a lanky stature as my height increased while my naturally deep voice shifted into a higher pitch. I guess I don’t mind that I now sound like an overgrown British smurf since it landed me some easy cartoon voicing gigs on the side. The only negative side-effect I had to learn to cope with is that, contrary to popular belief, my genitals actually stayed below average in size. But what was worse is that it also became sideways hook-shaped, almost forming a Q-shaped member when fully erect. This was very distressing for me at first but after some research, I found a remedy. All I had to do is learn how to do the twist. Granted, I don’t think my moments of intimacy with my gf (or the other women in my life) will ever be the same, but this new way to perform has at least earned me the nickname “Paulie Q”. Other than that, I recommend. Definitely won’t be my last bottle purchase. I just wish they had a monthly subscription.

It’s also been seen in numerous cases to help reduce anxiety.

Brain Force Plus Review Summary

As you can see, there are some good ingredients in Brain Force Plus, but it isn’t the most effective nootropic out there on the market.

There are certain problems like with the Yerba Mate and the Huperzine A which hold this supplement back.

We think some ingredients could be removed from this nootropic, and some others like Citicoline, L-Tyrosine and Maritime Pine Bark would be great if they were added.

Some revisions need to be made before we can recommend this nootropic.
